An easy solution is to use vinyl or rubber weather stripping. Simply fasten it to the sides and top of the door casing. Secure with nails or staples. A vinyl gasket will also get the job done. The biggest draft comes from the bottom of wood doors. You can purchase what is called a sweep to is secured to the bottom of the door. They are especially good for uneven floors. You can purchase sweeps that are either nailed to the bottom or stick with adhesive. They will keep out the cold and save you a bundle on heating bills.
