Exterior Doors, Interior Doors and even French Doors in…
You might be feeling a little overwhelmed at the vast selection of solid wood doors at Doors 4 Home. There are French doors, mahogany doors, interior doors, entry doors, and so much more. But after you’ve finally decided on a light wood door with beautiful detailing, you’re work isn’t done yet. Now you have to think about door knobs because without them, your door is just a piece of wood trapping you in a room.
Interior doors will look best with traditional round knobs. Think about what color finish will look best. Get snazzy with your bathroom doors and add a glass knob instead of the traditional brass. The choices for your exterior doors can seem a bit more intimidating. There are keyless locks, levers, and knobs. Safety is most important, but you want a knob that blends well with your door and matches the style of your home.
If you chose a pair of French doors, you’ll need what is known as a dummy knob for the inactive side. This knob is only for aesthetics. A door only functions as well as its knobs so pair these two items together wisely.
